Fumigation is a disinfestation method using a smoke formulation to control wood-infestating insects. The application consists of introducing a toxic gas at high concentration into a sealed space (vacuum or with products) for adequate time, so that the gas to occupy the entire area and eliminate the insects in target.
The fumigation method has a broad spectrum of applications:
• In every king of grain and cereal, flour, dried fruits, vegetables.
• In food storing facilities, empty warehouses, silos, ship holds.
• In wooden houses, in wood cargos that have been affected by woodworms.
